Hey everyone!
I’m reaching out for your support of a cause close to my heart. This year, I’ll be running the Rehoboth Half Marathon on Saturday, December 6, 2025, to raise funds for the Surfgimp Foundation, an amazing non-profit making a real difference for people with disabilities. The Surfgimp Foundation provides grants to help individuals with disabilities access the financial support they need to live active lives, believing that everyone deserves the chance to enjoy physical activities. If you can, please consider donating—every contribution, no matter the size, can make a meaningful impact.
I am also running because surfing means so much to me. In honor of being 5 years post car accident in 2020, a traumatic brain injury survivor, and because this will be my "5th" long race (one marathon and three half-marathons). All of my health practitioners (22!) & therapists (physical, vestibular, ocular) know that I was doing all that I could to get back in the water during my rehabilitation. Now that I am physically, emotionally, and mentally able to surf again, I ready to meet this half marathon challenge head on & help others get back in the water through fundraising for Team Surfgimp,
